Delicate Arch has been photographed so many times and from all angles but I had never seen it from the perspective. The first photo I took from this locations scored a 5th place finish out of all most 700 photographs. Every time I visit Delicate Arch I go to this location, which is very tricky as there is a several hundred foot drop off right behind, and snap a few pics. This day the clouds were close to perfect.
I love to photograph in and around Third System Forts, the shadows, the bricks, the age, All things I try to show in these photos.
