Delicate Arch has been photographed so many times and from all angles but I had never seen it from the perspective. The first photo I took from this locations scored a 5th place finish out of all most 700 photographs. Every time I visit Delicate Arch I go to this location, which is very tricky as there is a several hundred foot drop off right behind, and snap a few pics. This day the clouds were close to perfect.
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Living in Florida we get to experience some really beautiful sunrises and sunsets, the colors are spectacular and catching one over the ocean is magical. Here I am posting some of my best sunrise/sunset photographs, most from Florida but some from other locations as well.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_media_grid grid_id=”vc_gid:1480362663371-b7f62285-df14-2″ include=”2413,2544,2585,2513,2510,2582″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
On our way to a completely different shot we found this spot, hung around until sunrise and captured this wonderful image. Keeping and open mind.
Taken on a cold October morning in 2011, probably 30 or 40 other photographers elbow to elbow trying to get the perfect shot. I got it.
Like many photographers I get inspiration from others, I saw a photo from this vantage point and knew I had to have a go. Even though I have visited the area several times the clouds are never just right!
Canyonlands National Park, to many visits to this gem by the wrong people. This site is now in a horrible disrepair.
One of the most beautiful places on earth. It is a difficult area to find and I spent several trips looking for the trail head. Well worth the effort!
